EVENT BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
We’re so excited to share our farm experiences with you! Please read our policies carefully so that everyone has a joyful and stress-free visit.
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY. Reservations without Trip Protection: Bookings are non-refundable. Transfers or rescheduling are only available if requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class or event, subject to availability. No-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours prior are not eligible for a refund or transfer. This policy applies to all non-private event and class bookings. For special events, a minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for any change or cancellation. Please note that transfers can be made only once.
TRIP PROTECTION (ADD-ON). Guests may choose to add Trip Protection at checkout for an additional fee equal to 20% of the ticket price. Trip Protection provides additional flexibility for refunds and rescheduling beyond our standard policy.
Trip Protection Refund Terms. Trip Protection fees are non-refundable once purchased. If you purchase Trip Protection, cancellations submitted by email are eligible for a refund based on the timing:
- 100% refund of the ticket price (excluding taxes, fees, and the Trip Protection add-on) if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
- 50% refund of the ticket price (excluding taxes, fees, and the Trip Protection add-on) if cancellation is requested at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
- Cancellations requested less than 2 hours before the scheduled start time, or failure to attend, are not eligible for any refund.
CHANGING CLASSES OR EVENTS. If you would prefer to switch to a different class or event rather than receive a refund:
- With Trip Protection: One (1) date or event change is allowed at no additional charge if requested by email and received at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time. The new booking is subject to availability and must be scheduled within the same season.
- Without Trip Protection: Date or event changes may be requested at least 48 hours prior, subject to availability. No refunds are issued.
- Changes requested less than 2 hours before the scheduled start time, or failure to attend, are not eligible for rescheduling.
GIFT CARDS & TRIP PROTECTION. If a reservation is paid for in full or in part using a Goats To Go gift card, any eligible refund under Trip Protection will be issued back to the gift card used at the time of booking. Refunds will not be issued as cash, check, or credit to a different payment method. Gift cards retain their original terms and do not expire.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Trip Protection is optional and must be selected at checkout. It cannot be added after booking.
- All cancellations or change requests must be submitted via email to be valid.
- Refunds and changes are subject to availability.
- Taxes and processing fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
PRIVATE EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Our private events are held rain or shine, with accommodations inside the barn in case of inclement weather. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund. However, cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. Please note that on the day of the event, we cannot offer refunds for fewer guests than the confirmed headcount.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Our events take place in all kinds of weather—rain, snow, sunshine, warm or cold. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather. Most events move inside the barn if it rains. For hikes, we do continue in cold, snow, and light rain; however, in the case of heavy rain, we may reschedule your hike or issue a credit toward a future hike.
PERSONAL & MEDICAL EMERGENCY POLICY
We understand that personal and medical emergencies can arise, including testing positive for a communicable illness. However, our standard cancellation policy still applies. As a small business with limited capacity at our events, last-minute cancellations—especially for individual bookings—often result in lost income and unused spots. While we strive to be as accommodating as possible, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to offer any changes or transfers. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to this policy.
