On August 13, 2025, we were thrilled to welcome six beautiful huacaya alpaca ladies—called hembra—to the farm – Great Rock Farm in Georgetown, MA! These gentle, curious creatures bring a whole new kind of magic to our trails and events.
You’ll start seeing them around the farm, greeting guests at special events, joining in on our Goat Hikes, and strolling along during Guided Farm Walks. With their fluffy coats and sweet personalities, they’re already stealing hearts! They’ll also be a special highlight of our Goat’s Fall Pumpkin Festival & Hayride on Saturday, October 4th—so don’t miss your chance to say hello.
Our Alpaca Herd
- Aziza – A calm and wise soul who often leads the group.
- Aquadilla – Gentle and curious, she loves to watch everything around her.
- Bea – Sweet and soft, she’s always close to her friends.
- Tutu – A little playful, with a flair for being noticed.
- Soulie – Thoughtful and soulful, true to her name.
- Bristol – Independent and adventurous, she keeps things lively!
