Farm Explorer & Wellness Nature Summer Camp

Discover the joys of farm life at Great Rock Farm’s Summer Farm Camp! Set on 55 beautiful acres in Georgetown, Massachusetts, this unique outdoor experience gives children, families, and caregivers the opportunity to connect with animals, explore nature, learn hands-on farm skills, and enjoy wellness-focused activities in a fun, supportive environment. From brushing goats and horses to nature walks, crafts, and mindfulness sessions, every day is filled with adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Registration

Join us for our Summer half-day outdoor camp on our 55-acre working family farm, Great Rock Farm, in Georgetown, Massachusetts.

2027 Summer Session running:

  • Monday–Wednesday July: 26-28 or Extended Full Week Option thru July 30. Junior Farm Explorers (Ages 8–18, Grades 3-12) – Up to 40 campers
  • Friday is Family Day (July 30). Bring a Parent or Sibling Day. Adult/Family/Caregiver Support Camp (All Ages) Welcome

Daily Schedule:

  • Drop-off/Arrival: 8:30AM
  • Camp Session: 8:30–12:30 PM (Snack at ~10 AM)
  • Pickup/Departure: 12:30PM

Activities & Experiences:

  • Morning Yoga or Meditation Circle (Bring a towel or mat!)
  • Farm Walk & Nature Scavenger Hunt or Arts & Crafts
  • Hands-On Animal Care & Learning: Brush horses & goats, plus meet animals that are on the farm such as our goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, horses, alpacas, and even a llama!
  • Mid-Morning Snack Break (Bring a snack in a cooler bag with the camper’s full name.)

What to Bring:

  • Each Camper should bring a Backpack with emergency contact info, water bottle, and change of clothes.
  • Weather-appropriate layers and closed toe shoes.
  • Bathrooms & handwash station available on-site

Pricing:

  • 3-Day Camp (Mon-Wed): $350 per person. A $50 discount for all returning campers and/or sibling discount when registering together.
  • Optional Add-Ons:
    • Extend the camp week by 2 additional days (Thu & Fri): $120 per camper
    • Friday is Bring a Parent or Sibling Day: $75 per parent or sibling
  • 1-Day Camp (Friday – Family Day Camp): $200 per couple, plus $60 per child. Or $125 per person.

Registration:

  • Opens February 22, 2027 with $100 deposit per camper.
  • Final payment due for all campers by June 15th. Early Registration: 
  • Register by March 15 and receive $25 off the camp deposit per camper

Policies:

  • Late Pickup/Early Arrival: $5 per minute fee applies
  • No-Show Fee: $40 per day if absence is not emailed at least 2 hours before camp starts
